The Buona Vista railway masterplan is envisioned to offer desirable experience for both residents and office workers, a space for them to get away and come together. New paths, welcoming entrances, and several access points that channels through the length of the project will turn the park connector into easily accessible destination from far and near. The provision of natural connective landscapes will also bring the future office environment into the natural setting.
The vista corridor is an urban transformation that breathes new life into the PCN landscape, and it is also designed to welcome all ages and abilities with provision of ramps for universal accessibility.
The objectives are to stitch spaces together by a network of multimodal trails that connect people from place to place, and creating a new outdoor lifestyle destination, offering recreational values for communities and respite for workers. The new landscape identity will also welcome all walks of life by embracing universal accessibility.
Take on a journey in the eyes of a cyclist’s perspective as one travels through the spaces along the proposed trails and experience the different pockets of spaces cycling down from multipurpose pizza all the way to the corridor landscape. It expresses the diverse activities that engage different user groups, choreographed by the strong integration of fluid pathways throughout the park, with its own unique functions in each space.
Overall perspective overlooks from the metropolis showing the altogether ambience of the revitalized rail corridor. Users have the freedom to choose to travel in the linear pathway or travel through the meandering paths dedicated to slowing down the pace to relish and experience the rich landscapes and taking a breather from their busy lifestyle.
